2007 Member Recital
The Eastern New York Chapter of The American Guild of Organists presented their annual Members’ Recital at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Rensselaer, New York. The organ is a 3-manual instrument based on North German designs of the early 1700’s. The organ was built by L. A. Carlson Company. Recently the console was replaced with a Rodgers custom digital console. The original 45 ranks of pipes have been augmented by 40 additional ranks of Rodgers digital sounds.
Nine members of the chapter played an interesting and varied concert with music ranging from Pachelbel to Derek Bourgeois.
